FUNCTIONS OF MEMBERS IN-CHARGE
Art Director - Mr. G. Sundareswaran (Gs)
He is in charge of entertainment and cultural activities in developing and maintaining a creative vision that speaks to viewers. He collaborates with office bearers to screen two films monthly in a wide screen (screen fixed in open lawns) mostly on Sunday evenings. Also conducts any music/dance/karaoke programs on alternate Sundays for members and families. His primary responsibility is to ensure that all entertainment produced are according to the members’ preferences.
Stage Director - Mr. R.Elumalai & Green Room Director - Mr. Ranjit Agarwal
These two members coordinate with the Art Director and oversee the maintenance of screen, room provision for artists to change or apply costumes when they enter the club. They make seating arrangements for members in lawn with dining tables. Also they make arrangements with focus lights and video to telecast live programs such as cricket matches, football matches played in other countries.
Member in-charge of Billiards - Mr. PG. Ramesh Babu
This person is in charge of maintaining gym and health club amenities and ensures their condition is good or not for members to use. He makes sure that the gym is available for members in the mornings and evenings. Also he takes care of card section which will be opening from 3pm. He oversees all gaming functions for the assigned tables. He responds to any questionable activities done by dealer boys with the members and takes appropriate action to correct the situation. He too ensures the card rooms are all air conditioned where members shall play at ease and feel relaxed.
Member in-charge of Refreshments and Library - Mr. R.Jayakumar
The club has one big library room with lots of books, weekly magazines, and morning and evening newspapers. This section is under the care of this member in charge. He oversees the day to day operations of the library. He oversees the acquisition of new materials including books, eBooks, journals, magazines and DVDs. Also he ensures the functioning of the canteen serving tasty snacks and delicious drinks to members. He supervises the kitchen staff and checks whether they are neatly dressed and utensils are properly cleaned before cooking and while serving customers.
Member in-charge of Bar/Permit Room - Mr. G. Nagarajan
He is in charge of overseeing the overall operations of the Bar, managing its staff and making sure that the standards of products and services are met. He assists in monitoring the management of inventory and finances. He directs and maintains the Bar services within the club and also ensures that the members are served promptly and courteously, as this is an important section. Additionally he takes care of hygiene and safety regulations, resolves guest complaints and ensures their satisfaction.
Member in charge of Rooms - Mr. N. Senthil Kumar
The club has 10 AC rooms for the use of members and their guests. This member in charge person leads and supervises room attendants, house persons and laundry attendants to ensure all rooms, linen and clothes and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards. He speculates every rooms and related area operations including front office, housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests in both days and nights. Also he places new orders for the purchase of new linen and toiletries and ensures the rooms are well maintained.
Member in charge of Swimming pool and Out-door games - Mr. Abdul Khader Sulaiman
